Promoting a food truck revolution, DAFT is an events company that can source and co-ordinate upmarket food trucks and trailers for private events, corporate functions, shows and exhibitions. This endeavour is to promote local business, locally-sourced food, create variety and excitement at your event.
The beeeeg Orange bus. Fudart strEATERY has an 8 metre temperature controlled stainless steel kitchen, is self-sufficient with built in plumbing, electricity and gas.
The type of equipment installed allows us to cater for various styles of meals from finer plated meals and upmarket street food. The vehicle is available for all shows, exhibitions, weddings, functions and house parties. We offer the ease and convenience of being fully mobile so the truck can be driven and parked at almost any venue without strict height restrictions.
Truck specs are: 8 meter long, 3.6 meter high and 2.4 meter wide.
You can find us at most International concerts parked on the Iconic ICC pod offering up local street food. We have hosted Various food truck set uphold for example TOURISM INDABA 2016, INTERNATIONAL AIDS CONFERENCE 2016, concerts such as RODRIGUEZ, ROXETTE, JOSH GROBAN, SEAL and many private events. References available.
Below are some ideas of street food served from the Food Truck. We can tweak flavours to your preference and add on Canapes, Desserts, Beverages and so much more. For efficiency of service, I would suggest choosing one theme from below and then offering variety of proteins or flavours from that particular theme. E. g. – Burgers or Burritos (not both).
Even though, we often only have one portion at a meal time – some guests differ…
Please consider ordering 1.5 x meals per person if not going with a voucher ordering system as some guests might come up twice. It is not so easy to turn your guests away when these extras are not catered for.

These STREET FOOD items would be slightly larger than Canapes but still small enough to enjoy a few dishes each and allow your guest to enjoy the interaction of the FOOD TRUCK hatch
*The truck hire will include, kitchen service staff, disposable packaging, travel and gas.
***The food truck will require 1 x 16amp plug point to ensure health and safety regulations Are covered for temperature-controlled refrigeration and extraction to run. Other menu items may require further power outlets.
If for any bus mechanical reason, the food truck is not available, a market style set up will be provided.
FOOD TRUCK/ Bus Dimensions are 8 mt long, 2.4 mt wide and 3.6mt High – we fit into most standard drive ways but please ensure there are no height restrictions
